Rescue:

Callie and her kittens’ (Cher, Celine, Carlos and Cyndi) story is one of resilience and a mother’s
unwavering love. When the kittens were just six weeks old, a terrifying moment unfolded—Callie
darted across a busy road, and her babies tried to follow. Too small and too slow, they were
suddenly in the path of oncoming traffic. A woman, seeing the danger, ran out to chase them to
safety as cars rushed by. The kittens scrambled up the tires of a large construction vehicle parked
nearby. Three were scooped up quickly, but one panicked and slipped between the tight space of
two transport truck tires. Managing to free her, that little one bolted and disappeared. Miraculously,
after a few tense days and hawk sightings, she was safely rescued too. Callie is now safe and in
Pet Patrol’s care, along with all her kittens. She’s a sweet, brave mama who gets along well with
other cats, is unfazed by dogs, and stays close to the people who helped her survive.

Personality:

Cher is a soft and gentle little torti with a heart full of love. She’s calm, affectionate, and happiest
when snuggled up in your arms, drifting off to sleep after a big day of kitten adventures. While her
siblings lead the way in mischief, Cher likes to watch first, making sure the path is safe before she
joins the fun. But once she’s in, she’s all in, especially if there’s a red laser dot involved. She’ll
leap, twirl, and pounce with goofy enthusiasm, determined to catch that elusive light! When she’s
not on the chase, you’ll often find her perched on her cat tree, quietly watching the world or
cuddling with her siblings. Cher has a deep love for ear scratches and will lean right in to show you
just how much she appreciates them. She’s also great with children and has been well socialized
in
her foster home. Cher would love a home that will give her time to feel confident and shower her
with love once she settles in. Cher is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will
welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
