Rescue:

Lacey first came to Pet Patrol as a tiny, fluffy white kitten, sweet natured
and full of promise. She
was quickly adopted by a kind young woman who adored her, and the two formed a close bond.
For years, Lacey enjoyed being the center of attention in a peaceful, pet free
home. But as life
evolved, so did the household. A new boyfriend and his visiting dog began to shift the dynamic, and
Lacey wasn’t happy about it. Despite their love for her, it became clear that Lacey was no longer
thriving. The couple had plans to move in together, and rehoming Lacey, though heartbreaking,
was the kindest decision. Her owner, who had always prioritized Lacey’s wellbeing,
reached out to
Pet Patrol in the hopes of finding a home better suited to her sensitive girl.
Now back in our care and placed in a calm, pet free
foster home, Lacey is once again showing her
true self, affectionate, gentle and absolutely precious.

Personality:

Lacey is a chatty, affectionate girl with a big personality and a love for life’s simple pleasures—
especially tube treats and bird watching. She perks up instantly when a treat is in hand or a bird
dares to land near the window. She enjoys cuddling on your chest or lap and purrs up a storm.
When she’s done with affection, she’ll let you know with a meow or by calmly walking away. She
loves to meow—saying hello, asking for something, or chittering at birds. Her favorite toy is a
rainbow string, which she’ll swat at from under the coffee table during short play sessions. Lacey
doesn’t like being picked up or squeezed, and she’s clear about her boundaries. However, she’s
very tolerant of a polite check over and is gradually getting comfortable with nail trims. One of her
cutest quirks is the little breathy, whiny sound she makes when she’s winding down for a nap, it’s
completely endearing. Lacey is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome
her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
