Rescue:

shelter among the stacks of garden centre supplies. High up on the shelves, tucked behind bales of
merchandise and pots, he kept out of the wind and out of harm’s way. For three days, staff had
spotted him on security cameras, but it wasn’t until a woman came in to do her shopping that
Gambit’s fate changed. As she wandered through the garden centre, she saw him confidently
strutting through the aisles—friendly, affectionate, and clearly not a feral cat. He rubbed against her
legs, eager for attention and company. She knew he didn’t belong in that dangerous environment
and reached out for help. That’s when Pet Patrol stepped in. Gambit was rescued, brought to
safety, and finally given the chance to leave parking lots and an uncertain future behind—for good.
