Rescue:

When a Pet Patrol volunteer came across an online listing for three unvaccinated, four month old
kittens being sold without vet care, alarm bells rang. She quickly brought the situation to our team,
and after a few conversations with the seller, arrangements were made to bring the kittens into our
care. What she found was heartbreaking—a small, overcrowded basement apartment housing six
cats in poor conditions. With cluttered living space, minimal natural light, and no proper outlets for
enrichment, it was clear the cats needed more than just food. Thankfully, our volunteer was able to
bring the three kittens to safety, and Pet Patrol stepped in to help the remaining cats, including the
kittens’ parents and sibling. All were spayed or neutered, received proper medical care, and began
a new chapter in comfort and safety.

Personality:

Albie is a gentle soul with a tender heart. He may be shy at first, but with a little time and
encouragement, he’ll warm up and lean into pets with quiet affection. He’s not one to initiate play,
but once his brothers get going, Albie happily joins in, especially if Archie is leading the way. The
bond between them is strong, and Albie would do best in a home with another cat to help him build
confidence and show him the ropes. He’s doing well around calm children and continues to grow
braver every day. Albie is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him
into the family and keep him safely indoors.
