Rescue:

Pet Patrol received a message from a woman who runs a small cat rescue about 45 minutes
outside the city limits: “I have this sweet, playful, vaccinated boy that needs a bit more socializing.
He’s shy but good once he gets used to a person and a place. Do you want him?” It took a few
days to make room, but soon Dallas was safe in Pet Patrol’s care. Like many strays in the
countryside, Dallas had simply shown up on someone’s property—skirting the edges, hiding in the
background, but clearly hoping for a chance at comfort and safety. Thankfully, he was easily
tempted into a humane trap and brought to the sanctuary. Since arriving in his foster home, Dallas has
blossomed. The original message was right—he’s playful, curious, and enjoys affection. Once he
settles in and gets to know his people, his sweet and easygoing
personality shines. Dallas is now
looking for a home where he can continue to thrive.

Personality:

Dallas is a curious and affectionate little boy with a heart full of love and a lot to say! While he might
seem a bit reserved at first, it only takes a gentle hand to bring out his sweet and snuggly side.
Offer him a few chin rubs—his absolute favourite—and you’ll be rewarded with fullbody
head butts
and the loudest purrs. Stop too soon, and he’ll let you know with a little meow and a nuzzle, asking
for just a bit more love. He’s playful and lively, never one to miss out on a round of laser tag or a
dance with the cat dancer toy. Dallas is also an excellent storyteller, chirping and chatting to keep
you up to date on his day. He’s got a soft spot for cozy napping spots and often goes on little quests
to find the comfiest place for a catnap. The more time you spend with Dallas, the more he blossoms
—growing in confidence and affection every day. Dallas is ready to be adopted into his forever
home, one that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
