Rescue:

Chip and his siblings come from a rural barn where the cat population quickly grew out of control. It
all began with one unaltered male cat and a stray female who was abandoned there. Over time, the
situation spiraled, leaving a retired woman and her adult son—who faces health challenges—
struggling to care for an evergrowing
number of cats and kittens. These cats and kittens, ranging
from 15 weeks to 2 years old, are incredibly friendly and wellsocialized
despite their challenging
start in life. With limited resources and mounting veterinary bills, the family did their best to provide
food, shelter, and medical care for the cats, but it became overwhelming. Recognizing the need for
help, they reached out to local rescues, and that’s when Pet Patrol stepped in. Chip and his siblings
were among the first to be brought to safety. Now safe in Pet Patrol’s care, they are on the path to
finding loving homes where they will no longer have to endure concrete floors and work benches or
live in uncertainty.

Personality:

Chip is an energetic little whirlwind of fun who absolutely loves to play – especially with his
brothers! Whether he’s chasing springs, tumbling through tunnels, or zipping around the room in full
kitten zoomie mode, he’s always up for an adventure. After all that excitement, you’ll usually find
him curled up in a cozy cuddle pile with his siblings, catching up on some well earned
nap time.
While Chip is still learning to seek out affection on his own, he’s incredibly gentle and easy to
handle. He doesn’t mind being picked up or placed on your lap and is beginning to understand just
how nice it is to settle in for some quiet cuddle time. He may be a little shy about asking for
attention, but he’s coming out of his shell more every day. With patience and love, Chip will
blossom into a confident, affectionate companion. He would thrive in a home with another playful
cat or kitten to help guide and comfort him. Chip is ready to be adopted into his forever home, one
that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
