Rescue:
In the early hours of January 19th—around 3 a.m.—a young cat named Lana gave birth to six
beautiful kittens: 3 boys and 3 girls. All black, the girls have long, elegant coats, while the boys are
shorthaired and sleek. As Lana nursed and tended to her kittens like a devoted mom, her human
was also doing their best—juggling feeding, cleaning, and watching over the tiny litter. But with four
other cats in the home and rising tension between them, the peaceful dynamic had shifted. Sleep
became scarce, space was tight, and things were becoming overwhelming. The kittens, however,
are sweet and well socialized, having grown up in a home where they received lots of attention and
gentle handling. Their caregiver had grown deeply attached and wanted to keep them all—but
ultimately knew they deserved homes where they could thrive. Thanks to this act of love, the kittens
are now safe with Pet Patrol, ready for forever homes of their own.
Personality:
Tania and Tux are a delightful sibling duo with a beautiful bond and complementary personalities.
Tania is a gentle soul with a long, soft charcoal coat touched by a whisper of brown. Though a little
more reserved than her brother, she’s affectionate in her own quiet way and loves to wrestle and
play with Tux. She may take a moment to warm up, but once she does, her sweet personality
shines. Tux, the larger of the two, is an energetic spirit. He’s always the first to greet visitors, eager
for affection and ready to impress with his leaping skills. Outgoing, playful, and endlessly curious,
Tux brings laughter wherever he goes. These two are inseparable—whether chasing toys or curling
up together, they find comfort and confidence in each other. Tux helps draw Tania out of her shell,
while Tania adds balance and calm to Tux’s high energy. Tania and Tux are ready to be adopted
into their forever home—one that will welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors.
