Rescue:

One cold and death defying blizzard night, June made a life saving decision. When a family let their
dog outside through the back patio door, this sweet torti darted inside, as if she had been waiting
for the opportunity. The family had seen her before – wandering near their country home, lingering
close to the highway, far too close to danger. There were no barns nearby, no safe shelters – just
open land and fastmoving cars. From the moment she stepped inside, June wasted no time
making herself at home. She greeted her rescuers with big purrs and eager affection, as if she
had chosen them. It was clear she wasn’t meant to be an outdoor cat, and they couldn’t bear the
thought of her trying to survive out there alone. She was confident with people, completely content
being indoors, and even got along wonderfully with their senior dog. Wanting the best life for her,
the family kept her temporarily until Pet Patrol had space. Now, June is ready for a loving, indoor
home where she’ll never have to worry about life on the streets again. She’s waiting to meet the
people who will keep her safely indoors and adore her as much as she adores them.

Personality:

Little June is as sweet and affectionate as they come! This charming girl has a heart full of love and
a purr that never stops. The moment you walk through the door, she greets you with adorable
chirps, eager for attention and ready to soak up all the love she can get. She adores being held and
will happily curl up in your lap, pressing into your hands for scritches and snuggles. She has a
playful and fun loving side too! She’s discovering the excitement of toys, happily batting around
balls and springs or leaping after her favorite feather wand. Her curiosity knows no bounds, and
she loves exploring her surroundings, always on the lookout for a cozy spot to perch and observe.
With her affectionate nature and playful spirit, June is sure to bring warmth and joy to her forever
home. She’s looking for a family to love her, spoil her, and keep her safely indoors where she can
continue to thrive.
