Rescue:

Jaimie was rescued as a young cat. She was brought inside by a lovely woman who set up a
feeding station on her back porch. Her little rental home was right in the middle of a lot of traffic,
and people nearby were too busy to take care of the local strays. The woman chose to keep a few
cats for herself, including Jaimie, but she had to move after a few years. At that time, she owned
seven kitties. After several more years, the woman was no longer able to work and needed to
downsize again. A few of her older cats had passed away, so she only had four: Jaimie, her
daughter Sprout, and two others. Jaimie and Sprout were rehomed with the woman’s coworker, and
all seemed fine. Suddenly, four months later, a local city shelter contacted Pet Patrol saying that
Jaimie and Sprout were turned into their kennel in humane traps; the girls had been found on the
street. After being unable to locate their owner, both mother and daughter are now happy and
healthy at the sanctuary.

Personality:

Jaimie is a very interesting kitty. She has really taken to her new life of play and fun; she is out and
about and doesn’t feel compelled to hide when new faces arrive to help at the sanctuary. She is
friendly and likes to be pet, though she can be a little startled by sudden movements or loud noises.
Overall, Jaimie is quite the pleasant companion. She is active and enjoys chasing after toys,
playing with other kitties, and curling up in a cozy, private spot for a little snooze. Jaimie is ready to
be adopted into her forever home, one that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely
indoors
