Princess

Rescue:

Princess was one of many cats living at a waste disposal site, where the staff cared for them as
best they could, providing food, fresh water, and shelter. But despite this, life was dangerous.
Coyotes lurked nearby, and traffic posed a constant threat. Princess was content in her colony, but
everything changed when she gave birth to kittens. Her caregivers, wanting a better life for her and
her babies, took her and her four day old kittens to a local shelter. They expressed what a lovely
cat she was and promised to take her back if no home was found. But just three days later, to their
shock and heartbreak, Princess was returned—spayed and vaccinated, but without her kittens. Her
time as a mother had ended far too soon. Sad and confused, Princess remained outside for a little
longer before deciding she’d had enough. She began greeting and following her caretakers, even
chasing after their car as they left. It was clear she was ready for a new life. Soon after, with her
thick, dirty fur, she was brought into Pet Patrol’s care. Since then, she has embraced the warmth
and love of indoor life.

Personality:

Princess is one of the sweetest cats you’ll ever meet. Gentle and affectionate, she loves nothing
more than being picked up, brushed, and showered with pets. Now that she’s safe indoors, she’s
discovering the joys of soft beds, warm sunshine streaming through windows, and the simple
pleasure of stretching out without worry. Though she’s still learning what toys are, she’s curious and
open to new experiences. She gets along wonderfully with other calm cats and would be happy in a
home with a feline friend or as a beloved only pet. Princess is looking for a forever family where she
can finally relax, knowing she’ll always be warm, safe, and loved. Princess is ready to be adopted
into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
