Rescue:
Raisin, Rhubarb, their siblings, and their mom were rescued from a homeowner’s porch. The
homeowner lives in a small village only 20 minutes out of the city, but surrounded by country. When
they first saw the mama cat about two months ago, she was sitting on the front porch meowing.
She was very skinny, but they fed her right away. She stayed even though the neighbour said not to
feed her… “Leave her be she will go away.” She would, but to what end? She was definitely asking
for help. She stayed in the garden along the side of the house. They thought she might’ve come
from the barn across the road, but she never returned there. They supplied her a plywood shelter,
but knew it was not enough for the babies. So they reached out to Pet Patrol and it didn’t take long
for the kitty family to get to the sanctuary. They are inside now and well looked after.
Personality:
Raisin and Rhubarb are a pair of playful, energetic sisters who bring endless fun and love wherever
they go. These lively kittens can’t get enough of ribbon wands and darting through tunnel toys,
showing off their athleticism. After playing, they love nothing more than curling up together for a
cozy nap. Raisin has recently found her voice and loves to let you know when she’s ready for some
attention with her sweet, gentle meows. She’s also a lap cat in the making, happily climbing into
your lap for snuggles. Rhubarb, her quieter counterpart, is still discovering her voice but adores
curling up with a human for warmth and affection. Both girls are getting more comfortable being
picked up and will come to you when they’re in the mood for love. They are the perfect combination
of playful and affectionate, guaranteed to brighten your home and your heart. Raisin and Rhubarb
are bonded and would like to be adopted together into their forever home—they’ll fill your life
with twice the joy, love, and purrs.
