Rescue:
Kiana, Keisha, Kawani were brought to Pet Patrol’s attention by a woman who has brought us
cats many times before. Her daughter delivers products to farms and noticed them in a horse
stall. They were very weak, scraggly, and obviously had upper respiratory and eye issues. This
was a very dusty, dirty barn, and they were basically left in the stall to die. They told the young lady
to “let nature take its course,” but she would have no part of that. She immediately bundled up the
kittens and brought them to Pet Patrol’s sanctuary. Although they’ve had their challenges trying to
fight off their colds, all three kittens have done extremely well. They started gaining weight quickly
and to show off their happygolucky personalities. They are ready to be adopted into their forever
home, one that will welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors.
Personality:
Meet Kiana and Kawana, the most human loving kittens you’ll ever meet. Kiana is a total snuggle
bug. Formerly the smallest of the litter, she loves to be in the lap of her humans for comfort and
security. If she’s laying on a soft blankie, she will suckle on the fabric. Despite having lost an eye,
she quite honestly doesn’t notice. She wrestles with her sisters and fellow foster siblings, often
sprinting from one end of the house to the other. Meanwhile, Kawani is the chillest kitty of the
bunch. While she does love to play a game of keep away with a crinkle toy, she is big on making
sure her humans are okay. She is the first to say hello in the morning, earning her the nickname
Greeter. Kawani looks out for her smaller sister, and these two are ready to be adopted into their
forever home together, one where they’ll be welcomed with many cuddles and kept safely indoors.
