Rescue:

Pet Patrol received a message from a woman who had recently helped by bottle feeding
seven little kittens which is a very dedicated task. She had been looking on social media and
found a photo of this poor cat, completely matted from head to tail – and he was short haired!
Her message read: We have found ourselves with another cat. He was posted on social
media and was clearly being neglected. After locating him we discovered he was in fact not a
stray but had a home. I was able to chat with them and they didn’t even hesitate to surrender him, not having the means to take him to the vet, be neutered or vaccinated. We have
secured him now, he is so sweet and friendly. Poor guy didn’t even have a name.

Personality:

Since coming into our care, Sterling has shown us that he is a very loving and happy boy, who
has a wonderful Siamese like meow and is interested in everything you do. He may do better as
an only cat or with just one other nonchalant pet in the house. He doesn’t interact with the
other cats at the sanctuary too much, he is pretty independent, but is fine being with them.
Sterling likes to see what is going on outside, the traffic, the people and the wild life, but he
is also content to bask in the sunbeam. He is a stunningly handsome cat with beautiful eyes,
ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep
him safely indoors.
