Rescue:

One of Pet Patrol’s volunteers lives in a little village surrounded by farms and close to
summer cottages, and what seems to be a perfect spot to drop off kitties! For many years
she has had a feeding station set up with insulated houses for the cats that show up. Bibi
was one of the new faces that appeared this winter. Whenever she came into the yard she
was very wary, always looking over her shoulder to make sure no other animals were
sneaking up on her, and would run away when she was approached. Eventually over
time, she stopped running but would meow at the lady asking for help, still staying out of
reach. Bibi wanted to trust her but other people had let her down, and now she didn’t know
who to trust! So a live trap was put out for her and right away she went in which was great
because it had started raining and was very chilly out. Bibi didn’t have to worry anymore
about trying to find a warm, dry, safe place to sleep. She was onto a safe haven at Pet Patrol,
where right away she was friendly and happy to be pet.

Personality:

Such a sweet girl! Bibi has taken to the indoor life style beautifully and is happy to have a
safe and warm place to be. She enjoys laying in the sunbeam on the window sill and
watching other critters outside, chattering to the birds and intently watching the traffic. Toys
are still quite interesting to her, and a mystery sometimes, especially the automated ones
which she investigates closely. Bibi is a very social and loving cat, who is used to being
picked up and carried around. She is gentle and kind, affectionate with her people and just
a dear little cat. She is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome
her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
