Rescue:

Pet Patrol received a message from a woman who lives up north and owns several farm
properties. She rents out the houses and barns, and even the fields to other farms, people
who board horses and others that just want to live in the country. Every barn needs cats to
keep down the rodent population that flock to the grain fed to chickens, and find shelter
amongst the bales of hay or in walls and ceilings. Cats like to have a job and mousing is
quite enticing to them. One day Sebastian showed up at one of the farms that houses
cows and pigs and he just stayed. He was friendly and affectionate from the minute he
found the first human and was able to be picked up and carried. Just an all round a nice
cat. Too nice to live his life on a farm. He would prefer a home where he can cuddle up to
people and settle in. Soon he was on his way to Pet Patrol and he has fit into his foster
home well.

Personality:

Sebastian is all boy and all about people. He wants to be with you, see what you are doing
and where you are going. He has never seen a TV that we know of, so the thought of him
cuddled up to his person for movie night and purring happily is what we hope for his future.
He is kind and sweet, playful and having a good time with the toys in the sanctuary. Such
a nice cat and so receptive to chin scratches, head rubs and brushing. Sebastian did find
it difficult to settle into the sanctuary with all the cats there, but he may do well with one
other cat that is easy going and laid back, or with a passive dog. He is fine with children.
Sebastian is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the
family and keep him safely indoors.
