Rescue:

Ryder was fortunate enough, as a cat living outside all on his own, to make his way to a
rural property where a woman takes care of stray cats with fresh food, water daily and a
heated shop. When these poor cats first arrive they have travelled quite far and are usually
thin and in rough shape but once healthy they are spayed or neutered, and they are free to
stay as long as they like. Ryder decided that this was a great place to be, recognizing the
advantages available to him, but the other tom cats didn’t like him. He has many scratches
on his face and ears and he is thin from being chased away from the food dish. The
woman who takes care of the cats knew that Ryder needed to be brought to Pet Patrol’s
care where it is safe and comfortable..

Personality:

When he arrived at the sanctuary, Ryder showed his calm, laid-back personality. He is
easy-going and despite his previous experiences, he enjoys the company of other cats!
Ryder loves the luxuries of being indoors, with warm places to sleep, good food, fresh
water and people to give him pets, snuggles and scritches. His newest discovery is toys;
who knew that fun things like this existed? Catnip mice, fuzzy balls and wand toys are
quickly becoming favourites with Ryder! He is an observant and neighbourhood watch cat,
preferring to see what is happening outside with the wild life and comings and goings of the
sanctuary. This lovely boy is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will
welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors
