Tippy

Rescue:

Pet Patrol has known about a woman who has been rescuing cats for many years. She lives
in a remote area in a little house, on her own. Although her health is failing now and finances
are tight, she manages to continue to help cats in need. She is aware of a hoarding situation
in her area, a house with a garage and a lot of clutter inside and out. Apparently the barn
across the road from this property was torn down and the cats that lived there migrated to the
open garage. The owner of that property is kind to the cats and feeds them all, but none
receive any medical care and none are spayed or neutered. Kittens are born and the woman
who has been rescuing cats takes them in for socializing and then finds rescues to take
them. This is where Tippy and his brothers Ringo and Flash came from. They were very timid
when they were first rescued and have come a long way since those early and uncertain days.

Personality:

Tippy’s love for cat toys and wands is slowly growing. He was cautious at first, not really sure
what toys were about, but he has discovered the joy of batting around a feather wand and
pouncing on a jingly ball. There’s a mischievous side hidden beneath his bashful exterior! His
foster mom has taught Tippy about how nice pets, and belly rubs and ear scritches are, and he
now rolls around on the ground at her feet, waiting for more, while purring like a little motor.
Being picked up is not his favourite thing – he prefers having all four feet on the ground. But
Tippy lets his foster mom hold him when she needs a snuggle, or when she gives him a
pawdicure. The family cat was an immediate friend for Tippy, and with careful introductions,
Tippy even took a liking to the resident dog. This charming boy is ready to find his forever
home, one that will give him patience and lots of love and keep him safely indoors.
