Rescue:

Pretty Davey and several of his colony mates were brought into Pet Patrol care in the middle
of winter, after a very long drive. A woman who lives up north and used to do cat rescue had
contacted us regarding these cats. They just had no place to go and would soon be breeding
uncontrollably. We were told that they were looked after by a family and all the cats were
handled, were able to be picked up and good candidates for adoption. They were right. Although they were fed low quality barn cat food and lived in a horse stable, they all came in with
good weight and bright eyes. Davey would have undoubtedly breed this year as there were
many unspayed females in this colony and the family had run out of resources for finding
homes for the litters of kittens born. This handsome boy is now in Pet Patrol care and thriving.

Personality:

Davey is a very curious and playful kitten who is easy to pick up and carry which makes him a
nice family friendly cat. He is very curious about what you are doing, what is that new noise,
and enjoys exploring his surroundings checking out rooms, closets and dresser drawers. He
loves spending time with other cats, preferably ones he can curl up with for a nap. Davey’s
favourite toys are the cat wand and toy mice, which keep him entertained for hours running
and leaping after theml. Davey is quite the chatty kitten, and if you pet him he’ll reward you with
the sweetest purrs. He is always happy to curl up on your lap or with a furry friend. Davey is
ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep
him safely indoors.
