Rescue:
Angel had a lot of people looking out for her. She arrived one day at a chemical plant and
was scooting around, very frightened, as there were big trucks coming and going. She
made her way into the warehouse and from there they started feeding her. It became clear
because of her dishevelled and dirty appearance that that she was homeless. She was
very thin and eagerly dove into the food when they put it out for her. None of the staff were
able to take her into their home so the plant manager contacted one of the engineers who
is a supporter of Pet Patrol. He in turn contacted the maintenance supervisor who easily
was able to put Angel in a carrier and soon she was at the sanctuary and on her way to a
better life.
Personality:
This pretty girl had a rough life to start with. But she has thrived. It took a little while for her
to regain her health but now that she is out and about with the other cats in the sanctuary
she is happy and playful. She has really enjoyed climbing the cat trees, and looking out the
sunny windows not only watching the traffic, but also what’s going on in the fields surrounding the sanctuary. She is easy to pick up and cuddle, likes to be with people and loves
neck rubs and ear scratches. Angel is ready to be adopted into her forever home, one that
will welcome her into the family and keep her safely and doors
