Rescue:
These two pretty cats came from a very neglected farm. It wasn’t in good shape. The barn was
draughty and repairs had not been done for a long time. The property was going to be sold
and more than likely the barn would be torn down. These girls were rescued from this uncertain future but they were a little bit older than the usual young kittens that we get into our care
and they had never been handled by people. So it’s taken a long time for them to come
around and appreciate the environment that they have. Although independent they do like their
people, gentle pets and sharing a comfy couch or bed. They are enjoying the comforts of a
home and appreciate not being outside in the weather.
Personality:
Mica loves to climb and watch out the window. She’s still a little shy but enjoys pets and getting
her head and neck scratched. Chasing small toys around and playing in a box is always fun
and entertaining. Tori is gentle and loving and likes to lay beside you for lots of pets and
scratches. With a little more time I feel she’ll be a cuddly lap cat. She likes to hide in boxes,
baskets or anywhere fun to peek out of. She likes bigger toys like a tennis ball that she can
hold and roll around with. Both girls are sun worshipers with a nice warm beam streaming
through the window. If laying on the carpeted floor they stretch out and relax. Mica and Tori
are very bonded to each other and will require a home that will invite them in and allow them to
adjust over time and with patience. They are ready to be adopted into their forever home.
One that will welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors.
