Rescue:

A woman heard a cat yelling at her door in the suburbs. She had not seen any strays around her
place for a very long time, and so she was quite surprised to see Cooper with his cherub little
face, looking up at her pleadingly when she opened the door. He was a little frightened of her at
first, because he probably had been turned away or chased many times but she was not going to
give up on him. She had the sense that he was quite friendly just was not used to being outdoors
and fending for himself. She lured him into the house with some food and then just closed the
door behind him. After that the woman’s daughter was able to charm him and took him in with
open arms. Cooper showed his cuddly side, and that he was gentle. While trying to find a rescue
to take him, Cooper made himself at home and here at the sanctuary he has been very grateful
and confident, and has integrated well with the other cats.

Personality:

What a cute boy. Cooper is. just a lovely cat and well liked at the sanctuary. He is quite social,
loves to be petted and cuddled and is happy to be indoors. He was taking full advantage of all the
toys, cat trees, and sunny windows in the playroom, and anytime someone visits he makes himself known. Cooper has really taken to catnip mice and basking in the sunny windows once he is
tuckered out from playing. Although at this time, he has not bonded with a particular cat at the sanctuary we feel he would be fine with another kitty in the home. Cooper is ready to be adopted into
his forever home. One that will welcome into the family and keep him safely and doors.
