Rescue:

Boomer is a great cat and like others that we have found nearing Christmas time he was
outside trying to fend for himself. What people don’t realize is that if you expect them to eat
mice they need 10 to 20 per day to survive and that means they’re also taking in parasites.
When Boomer showed up he was very hungry and very dirty. He was outside an apartment
building and he may have been left behind when people moved out. He showed up just
after the first of the month. He’s super friendly, but in the beginning, he was very timid and
unsure. It seems that he was not used to being outdoors and was definitely out of his
element. His rescuers were able to take him into the vet clinic, finding no Microchip and he
was not neutered so once he came into Pet Patrol care that was quickly done, and he has
thrived since then.

Personality:

Boomer is a good looking cat and does well at the sanctuary with the other kitties here. He
is friendly and social, playful and has really enjoyed the playroom. Climbing the cat trees
and darting through the tunnels is quite entertaining for him and when he’s all tuckered out,
he will find someone’s lap or a nice sunny window to stretch out in a sunbeam. Boomer is a
nice friendly cat who is easy to pick up and cuddle. He is not shy or easily intimidated, and
would do well in his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him
safely indoors.
