Rescue:

Little Sammy’s life would be very different right now if his momma, Sweetie, had not been
rescued. Here is the story of his rescue: Like many cats who find themselves abandoned and
left to fend for themselves, they are not neutered or spayed. The females become pregnant
quickly as male cats can smell a female in heat on the wind, and can travel up to five miles in
one day to find her. Now she is pregnant, homeless and without good constant food to feed
herself and her developing kittens. This was the case of Sweetie, she traveled from farm to
farm looking for help, asking politely and being pushed away. Finally someone took notice of
this nice girl and called around to local cat rescues. Most were full but in the meantime, before
coming to Pet Patrol, she was inside and safe, and this is where she had her six little babies,
Sammy included. All have thrived in our care

Personality:

Sammy is the teeniest of the bunch and the snuggliest. He wants nothing more than to sit on
your lap and be held, play gently and dreamily fall asleep. He is a quiet kitten and not as
demanding as his siblings for attention, but he does look at you adoringly which will melt your
heart. Like most kittens he is playful and fun loving, likes his toys, kitty tunnels and to sit on the
kitty climber. He will chase after the dangling wand toy and a crinkle ball. Sammy is ready to
be adopted into his forever home with a playmate or sibling. One that will welcome him into
the family and keep him safely indoors.
