Rescue:
A man pulled up to the sanctuary in his work truck. He was asking if this is the place that he
could bring cats to. Apparently his boss found three little kittens on his property and didn’t
know exactly what to do with them. There was no mother cat in sight. Overnight they kept them
safe and out of harm and in sharing the news with friends and family he found a home for one
of the kittens. But what to do with the other two. They were very, very tiny. So through the grape
vine they discovered Pet Patrol‘s sanctuary and the employee stopped by. Later that evening,
these two little kittens came into our care and they have thrived in their foster home.
Personality:
Josie is a tiny girl with a bold personality. She likes to meet new people and cats and isn’t
deterred by fast movements or loud noises. She loves chasing toys and is usually the instigator for wrestling matches with her much larger brother, Jed and foster sister Pipsqueak She
shows off her amazing acrobatics when the feather wand toy comes out, and her powerful purr
starts rumbling the moment a friendly person starts to stroke her. Josie enjoys keeping her
foster dad company through the working day and waits on his office chair in the morning to tell
him it’s time to get to started. She likes to sprawl across his lap to snooze and to keep an eye
on the computer screen, occasionally offering contributions during Zoom meetings. She prefers to snooze tangled together with her brother Jed; even better if the two of them can nestle
into a warm nook beside you on your bed. Josie is ready to be adopted with Jed, Pipsqueak
or have another playful and affectionate cat with her. A home where she will be welcomed into
the family and kept safely indoors.
