Rescue:

Pet Patrol received a text message sent by a woman who has done fostering before. Often
she is taking in cats that friends have found and worked with them in her home until a cat
rescue is able to take them. This is the rescue story for Abby and Alex: “They are in a dangerous spot. It is a rural backyard, and they sought refuge in the woodpile. Although there is
shelter there the wood becomes damp when it rains and holds that moisture creating a not so
healthy environment for the kittens. The yard is right beside a neighbour who is in and out with
heavy construction equipment and we fear for their safety.” The woman not only rescued the
kittens but also graciously fostered the kittens until Pet Patrol was able to bring them into our
care.

Personality:

Silver is a sweet, pretty little girl who jumps for pets, always comes when called and calls you
too. She is social with her people and other cats and is learning to not be shy with unfamiliar
noises. Her fur is so beautiful in the sun, she literally has a “Silver” lining. She is super playful,
she enjoys her fishy toy, any small balls, string toys etc. really anything makes this little girl
happy. She kindly rewards your attention with roaring purrs. She would be a great addition to a
quieter home where she can receive all the pets she desires and maybe another kitty friend to
play with. Silver is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into
the family and keep her safely indoors.
