Rescue:
Lily showed up at the feeding station of a woman who lives in a small village, not far from the city limits. She had been looking after a small colony of cats and overtime had brought in several mama cats, all black-and-white, and their babies to Pet Patrol. Everyone was rescued and then one day Lucy showed up. After partaking in the morning feed on the back deck, she walked into the humane trap. It had been sitting on the back deck for quite some time hoping to temp a cat in. Once in our care, Lily was wondering what was next in her life and it took a while for her to feel comfortable with people, but now she can easily be pet and greets you at the door
Personality:
Lilly loves to play and is very interested in her surroundings. although she will sit at your feet asking to be pet, she is not yet at the point of being lifted off her feet. It’s a huge trust for cats to not have full control. But with time and patience she will become a lap cat in the right environment. Lily makes up for it in her antics of play, and she purrs deeply and sweetly. She is good with other cats and has learned from them how to act with people and what toys are all about. She is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family to keep her safely and doors
