Rescue:
These little babies were noticed running through the side yard if a large property, darting in
and out of the long grass with other siblings. They were very timid and skittish probably because
they were not well with kitty colds, eye infections and malnutrition. They found themselves
defenceless out in the big wide world with no momma cat to protect them. A volunteer
who was there to rescue another cat had noticed the kittens and put a plan in place to rescue
them right away. She is in the midst of helping the property owner by having the colony of cats
spayed or neutered. This is the only way to have a healthy colony and control the overpopulation
of cats. Soon the babies were brought into to Pet Patrol care, and within just a few weeks
their health greatly improved and they began to play.
Personality:
Rowan and Russo are a tag team, best buddies and devoted brothers. They seek each other
out for play and for snuggles and naps, like their people as well but have shown us their love
for each other. It is not uncommon for the two of them to be running through the sanctuary
playroom, diving through the kitty tunnels and have a little wresting match inside, then continue
the Indy 500 up to the top of the cat tree. They expect each other to respond to their little
chirps for company and perk up trotting happily to greet the other. Adorable boys on every
level. Rowan and Russo are ready to be adopted into their forever home. One that will welcome
them into the family together and keep them safely indoors.
