Rescue:

This little baby was noticed on a farm property running through the barn. Once he noticed
people he quickly scooted outside to the side yard of a large property, darting in and out of the
long grass with his siblings. He was very timid and skittish probably because he had never
been handled by people before and was just frightened of everything. He weighed less than 2
pounds and found himself defenceless out in the big wide world. A volunteer who was there to
rescue another cat had noticed the kitten and his siblings (who soon came into Pet Patrol care
as well). She is helping the property owner by having the colony of cats spayed or neutered.
This is the only way to have a healthy colony and control the overpopulation of cats. Soon the
baby was brought into to Pet Patrol care, and his medical needs due to neglect were addressed.

Personality:

From his foster mom: Palmer is a sweet boy and tends to be a quieter kitty. He will often greet
us when we open the door to the kitten room and he is very happy to be picked up. He purrs
and relaxes while being held and while he cuddles in your lap. He can be a little nervous in a
new environment or when meeting new people but he just needs a bit of time to get comfortable.
Palmer loves to play with the kitten toys including the plastic jingle balls, spring and fuzzy
toy mouse. Palmer is ready to be adopted into him forever home. One that will welcome him
into the family and keep him safely indoors.
