Rescue:
A longtime friend of one of Pet Patrol‘s founders had called one day and said “I am a bad cat
dad. You will be very disappointed in me. I bought a country property a few years ago and
have a couple of pet cats in the barn. Well, it’s not really a barn. It’s renovated and that’s where
the gym is, office and seating area. They are living the life. But we didn’t get them spayed
even though we said we would. Now I have kittens that I need to find homes for, and I need to
get the cats fixed as soon as possible…I have nine” (!). It was quite the surprise to hear his
story, being a responsible business owner who pays attention to details. Soon arrangements
were made for the kittens to come into Pet Patrol care, and we were able to get the adults
spayed shortly thereafter. All have thrived and Jimny is now ready to find her family.
Personality:
Jimny is the leader of his siblings (Jupiter, Java and Jengo). He was the first kitten of the
group to accept his foster home and foster people! He instantly was looking at the humans for
attention and food, which helped his siblings become comfortable in their new environment.
He is a firecracker and has lots of energy. Jimny loves to run all over the place, up and down
stairs, scrambling up the cat tree and chaseing his siblings. If you have a wand toy in hand you
can guarantee he will be first in line to pounce on it! This little guy should go to a home that will
match his playful needs He is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome
him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
