Rescue:

Pet Patrol received an email about three little black kittens, orphaned and alone. The woman’s
daughter who works in the barn had found the kittens who were just 4 1/2 weeks old at the time.
As soon as she spotted them the farm dog grabbed one of them and tried to try to carry it away
Quickly realizing that these wee ones were in peril, she rescued it, no harm done, and reunited it
with it’s siblings. She asked the farmer where the mother cat might be, and he mentioned he had
found a dead cat the day before, also black. So we are assuming that it was the mom. The kittens
eyes were all a little infected, they were scared and rightly so without the protection of their
mother. Within a day they came into Pet Patrol care where they were immediately fed, eyes
treated, and they have thrived. By the next day we were able to place them with a nursing mom
and everything was well with the world.

Personality:

Cricket and Colt are both easy going, fun loving and very cute kittens. Cricket is quiet and Colt
likes to chat but both are playful and happy go lucky. Anything that they can chase, jump at, like
the wand toy, or climb up or through, makes them energized and inquisitive. Being in a
foster home with children they are relaxed in your arms and can be carried around, pet and cuddled.
The are often found snuggling together on top of the cat tree or in the cozy cat bed. It would
be best for them to be adopted together into their forever home. One that will welcome them into
the family and keep them safely indoors.
