Rescue:

Mahi’s momma is Marcelina and here is her story told by her rescuer: “I rescued Marcelina
from a family home when she had already given birth to her three kittens, and they were about
3 weeks old. The woman was looking to place them and the rest of her family of cats with a cat
rescue organization for as she was moving. She only wanted to take the dogs with her. Once
in my home, until Pet Patrol could take them, Marceline showed me what a very friendly cat
she was and she got along with my resident cats. I keep foster cats in their own room, letting
them out during the day to freely roam the house. Marceline is hilarious to listen to her call her
babies and she’s a beautiful brown tabby. All seem healthy and happy. “ Within a short period
of time a foster home with Pet Patrol came available and Marceline, with her kittens Magnolia,
Mittens and Mahi were in our care where they have thrived in a family home.

Personality:

Mahi is a playful and fun kitten who is full of energy! She loves to chase her siblings and be
chased by them, and will have wild games of tag running around the house. She is comfortable
being handled and carried by children, which is good because she is irresistible. After a
busy playtime she loves to cuddle up in a sunny spot, sometimes belly up, but always in a soft
bed. She will be a wonderful pet, and would love to be in a home with another kitten to cuddle
up with. Mahi is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the
family with her bonded sister, Magnolia and keep them safely indoors.
