Rescue:
Pet Patrol heard about a woman who lives on a farm. She is not in the main residence but a
trailer home that she rents and it is located near the barn. A quiet and peaceful environment
with a few cats and large animals in the barn. One day there seemed to be an abundance of
adult cats there. Where did they come from? As the story progresses, the woman figured
someone just abandoned the cats and took off. There were five friendly female cats (Paisley
& Pasha being two of them) and a couple of males who were elusive. She started to feed
them all and noticed the girls were all pregnant so she let them in, and within one week they all
had litters of kittens totaling 25. Oh my! With the help of another cat rescue organization we
were able to bring all the cats into care once the kittens reached seven weeks of age. The
woman thoroughly enjoyed caring for the moms and their babies but wasn’t sure she would do
that many again.
Personality:
Paisley & Pasha are a closely bonded pair who have done very well in their foster home.
Paisley is the more outgoing of the two while Pasha is a little more reserved, but likes for you
to pet her. As playful cats they like to chase the laser light and take a swing at the cat wand
toy. Both like to sit in the cat tree and look out the window and watch the birds, traffic and
neighbourhood activities. These pretty girls would do best in a quite setting with no children
or other pets. They are deserving of a lot of TLC, focused on them and they will reward you
with deep purrs and looks of love.
