Rescue:

Rihanna is found in a small rural town, where everyone pretty well knows everyone, and the
cats from the local barns come into the village to eat. Some of these cats were purposely
brought to the barns or dumped off near by, thinking that they would be taken in. Problem is
that the farmers don’t need more cats, there are always cats, can’t afford to fix them all to
maintain a small colony, and don’t have unlimited food to care for them all. In Rihanna’s case
she showed up at a woman’s feeding station with brittle, dry fur and a very full tummy – she was
very pregnant. She was missing fur on her sides from possible attacks and soon she took up
residence under the porch. Luckily Rihanna was easily rescued and brought into Pet Patrol
care where she had her kittens in safety surrounded by people who care about her.

Personality:

Rihanna is a very sweet girl with a glossy black coat and beautiful eyes. She will curl up with
you on the couch, and is very easy to pick up, gets along well with the other cats in the foster
home and she is quite a calm and lovable girl. She hasn’t had much time for playing as she
has been a busy mom, but she will swat at the odd ball that rolls by and is becoming intrigued
by the laser pen light and wand toys. Rihanna would do well with another calm friendly kitty in
the home or she would be quite happy to be adopted with one of her babies. She is ready to
be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her
safely indoors.
