Rescue:
Pet Patrol received an email from a woman who has done cat rescue in the past and continues helping homeless cats in her area, placing them with rescues or finding them homes. She
was quite concerned about the number of cats in a certain home and that they were not being
cared for properly. The tenants were feeding the cats mashed chickpeas and other non cat
type food which was not providing them with all the nutrients they need. The litter was rice and
torn up newspaper and being heavy smokers the air was blue. Out of her own good will she
has provided proper cat litter, kibble and canned food as well to help the cats. With this better
nutrition they have thrived. However, staying in that home would not be in the cat’s best interests and she reached out to Pet Patrol for help for Noshi and his housemates. Apparently,
there were more cats before and they were removed from the house, to another cat rescue.
We gladly took them in, and after meeting them realized that they were quite socialized.
Personality:
Noshi is a nice boy who would do well in an adult home, older teenagers etc. One that likes to
play with their cat with the wand toy, or tossing crinkle balls for him to bat around and chase.
He is good with other cats and was brought into our care with Nikan, another cat from the
same house. As a friendly boy he is easy to pick up and cuddle, he is a lap cat and likes to
snuggle up to his people at bedtime or while you are watching TV. He is happy to meet new
people and places, he has done well at exploring his foster home and is comfortable with
change. Noshi is ready to be adopted into his forever home where there is a buddy or playmate. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
