Rescue:

Pretty little Rosie was found on a property that is owned by the parents of one of our volunteers. They are a fair distance out of the city on a rural acreage that is surrounded by fields
and trees. It was the late fall and they were going outside to close up the chicken coop for the
night. The weather was starting to get cold, windy and there was the threat of rain as well,
which will chill anyone to the bone. Suddenly out of the darkening evening light this little cat
appeared and ran right up to them, meowing loudly. “Well, where did you come from?” They
couldn’t help but notice the desperate and worried look on Rosie’s face, she was destitute.
The woman picked her up easily and took the shivering kitty into the garage, where she received lots of pets and food. It is thought that she was most likely abandoned or was from a
neighboring farm but no one ever came forward after she was posted on the Lost Pet sites.

Personality:

Rosie is very affectionate and sweet natured. She loves to be cuddled and carried around,
leaning into you for comfort. When she sees you walk in the door, she runs right up to greet you
and demands to be pet. Rosie is so cute it’s hard to resist her. She loves to lay on laps, get
her belly rubbed and fall asleep with you. As a playful cat any toys that she can chase around
like strings and wand toys, really catch her interest. Rosie likes climbing up high, viewing her
new world and she also displays her high energy and agility. Rosie is ready to be adopted into
her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safe indoors.
