Rescue:

Pet Patrol’s sanctuary is located in a rural area, surrounded by farms and people who do
things the traditional way. Properties are fields apart and any cats that migrate from farm to
farm, have a fair distance to go. One day we received a call, it was early in the summer, from
a farm family who had a good sized barn with cows, horses of course, chickens and a number
of cats. They mentioned that they had a really nice male cat who needed to be placed because ‘they just had too many’. At that time of year, kitten season, Pet Patrol was absolutely
overflowing with cats and kittens and not a spare foster home to place more into. Because
everything had opened up around the world people were traveling and that reduced the
number of people able to adopt or to foster. We had a full house from June through to September. Finally, Ilsa and her daughter Ilianna came into our care as soon as we had room, and all
have done very well.

Personality:

Iliana is a very sweet, curious little cat. While she is a concerned when her environment
changes, she soon becomes chatty and warms up very quickly. She asks for attention and
likes to be pet and have nice ear rubs. She likes to explore and play with toys, and is often
taking naps in the sun at the top of the cat tree. Her sister Ilsa is much more calm and quiet,
she loves to be pet and will quickly ask you for more and then become very cuddly. She is a
very sweet cat. Iliana and Ilsa like to play and cuddle together, groom and settle into a soft
kitty bed for a long nap. They are ready to be adopted into their forever home together. One
that will welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors.
