Rescue:

Matrix and his sister Mulani were from a remote and functioning farm. In this very secluded
area, veterinarian care is far away, spay/neuter clinics are nonexistent and the cost to have
cats spayed or neutered at the vet is very high. It’s not feasible for a farming community to pay
$300 or so to have a barn cat fixed. So, these two kittens were born, along with nine others
and rescue organizations in the area were called to help. When they first came into Pet Patrol
care, the kittens were quite unsure about their environment and what to expect. It didn’t take
them long to settle in and start playing with toys. They all are able to be picked up and cuddled,
which shows that the people on the farm did a good job socializing them.

Personality:

Mulani and Matrix are purring machines. They love their chin and back scratches and will
come up to you whenever they are in need of attention. They are very easy to pick up and
cuddle, and are very comfortable in your arms. You will usually find them cuddling up with a
person or together anywhere that is comfy. They especially like being on a wide window sill so
they can see what is going on outside. They are very active, playful and curious cats. Mulani
likes to be held like a baby and she will fall asleep in your arms. She is a big fan of a wand toy
with feathers and likes to follow her brother, Matrix, around and see what he is up to. They like
to chase and wrestle with each other and a cardboard box with a toy in it goes a long way.
Matrix, as well, is a snuggle bunny, adventurous and will walk around as if on patrol making
sure he knows where everyone is and what is new. These two kittens are ready to be adopted
into their forever home together. They are not only siblings but best friends. A home that will
welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors.
