Rescue:

Cotton and Denim are two more little cats who were born in a chicken coup. A woman who
lives on a fairly busy road, but is surrounded by farm land, has a property that is kitty corner to
a farm that does not spay or neuter their cats. Over the years the cats have migrated from the
junk yard like farm to her chicken coup to have their kittens. Once found there, where it is safe,
dry and has fresh straw in the hen boxes, they are fed and watched over until old enough to
leave their mother. Then they are moved into her artists studio and socialized. Most of the
mother cats are feral, but she makes sure that they are spayed before releasing them, and
she has food out for the cats all the time. She has spayed over 40 females and drastically
reduced the over population of cats in her neighborhood. She is a hero to these cats and the
hundreds of kittens she has saved from starvation and coyotes.

Personality:

Cotton and Denim, sister and brother, are very sweet and easy to cuddle. They are so cute and
their personalities are gentle, playful and affectionate. Happy kittens now that they are indoors
and able to relax and not be exposed to the ever changing temperatures outside (mom had
moved them a few times before they were finally rescued). They have taken full advantage of
the toys and tunnels in the playroom, as well as scaling the cat trees to see outside and watch
the squirrels. It is a wonderful world for them at their Pet Patrol foster mom’s home and they
are thriving. These wee kittens are now ready to be adopted into their forever home. One that
will welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors.
