Rescue:
Mimi was found as a very tiny kitten, suddenly appearing in a nice couple’s work shop. It
appears, after she came into Pet Patrol and onto the vet, that she may have been tossed out
of a car. She had some injuries to her lower jaw, which have since been taken care of and she
is just fine now. It seems that little Mimi escaped into the shop through a little mouse hole and
curled up in the corner, huddled in fear. This was a country property and at night their outdoor
kitties ate and slept in the shop so that they would be safe and not become prey. On that
particular morning the people came in and Mimi ran to them crying, she was so hungry and so
glad to see them. They were very surprised and fed her right away. Already having a number
of cats and other animals on their property, they thought that it would be best for little Mimi to
be adopted into a new home and especially since she needed some extra attetnion, they
turned to Pet Patrol. Right from the beginning Mimi has proven to be a lovely cat and so very
grateful to have eight more lives to live.
Personality:
Mimi is a quiet little cat who seemed to be passed over when her buddies and surrogate mom
were adopted. She warms up to people nicely when comfortable in a new environment and
takes great pleasure in having a best friend to keep her company. She loves affection and
attention from her people, not quite a lap cat yet, but in time she will be as she likes to be out
and around people. Playing is her passion and she will chase after any toy that bounces, rolls,
dangles or makes a noise. She is quite agile with the cat tree and will gaze out the window at
the world from the comfort of the perch on top. Give her a kitty tunnel or cardboard box to
peek out of and she will be a happy kitten. Mimi is ready to be adopted into her forever hoe.
One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
