Qadira

Rescue:

Qadira was brought in by an older couple from a smaller town. They live on the outskirts of
town and one night they heard the cries of a kitten outside in their yard. The next day they went
out to look and see if they could find the wee one, but came back in the house without much
luck. The weather was just terrible outside. It was Fall and the temperature had dropped to
one degree overnight, it was raining and windy. How could a little kitten survive out there in
that awful weather. The next night they heard her crying again, but by now the weather had
worsened and they didn’t want to go outside after dark. In the morning they finally found her in
the garden and searched for other kittens as well, but could only find her. They called a local
woman who takes in rescued cats and soon little Qadira was in her care, and soon at the Pet
Patrol sanctuary.

Personality:

Qadira (pronounced KA-dear-ah) is such a happy little kitten. She will flop over on her side,
stretch out her legs and toes and look at you adoringly – she wants ear rubs and belly rubs. As
a kitten that is easy to pick up she likes nothing better than to be in your arms, carried around
and cuddled. She is definitely a lap cat and one who will snuggle up with you at bedtime. Like
all little cats she is super playful and likes to run around after toys that roll or bounce, catnip
mice and the wand toy are great fun. In the Pet Patrol playroom, we have kitty tunnels, lots of
climbers and windows for them to explore and get a good view of the room and outdoors.
Qadira loves it all. She is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome
her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
