Rescue:

A voice message was left on the Pet Patrol telephone line in regards to a kitten that a family
had found. They were quite alarmed because her eye was so badly infected. As it turns out it
is quite ulcerated and from the photos forwarded we could see this poor little one needed
immediate medical care. She was found in the garden of a country property the family owned.
There are no buildings out there, they just use the property for their veggie garden, camping
and family functions. How a six week old kitten found herself out there alone is quite baffling,
but the family is searching for any more siblings if they can be found. By now named True,
the kitten was brought into Pet Patrol care very quickly and immediately taken to the vet. As
predicted the eye needed to be removed, it was not salvageable and was causing her pain.
Her surgery was successful and now this happy go lucky little kitten is ready for adoption

Personality:

True is a very sweet and gentle girl, she had a rough start to life but she is thriving now and
doesn’t let it hold her back in the least. She loves napping at the top of the cat tree because it has
the best view. She can be a bit shy at first, but once she warms up to you she is a big snuggly
baby. She loves nothing more than belly rubs and will roll over and yell her loudest meow demanding to get tummy rubs. She is a big snuggler and loves to be held and cuddled. She loves
toys, but tends to prefer mice and balls because wand toys flying at her with just the one eye can
be a bit startling. She would love a home with another sweet and quiet cat to play and cuddle up
with. True is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family
and keep her safely indoors
