Rescue:
In late spring a mama cat showed up at a hobby farm just on the outskirts of a small town. She
was a beautiful Torti who seemed to have been dumped off and was very pregnant. The barn
owner let her stay to have her kittens. She gave birth to three beautiful healthy kittens (Kippy,
Kix and Krakers). The hobby farm had a mixture of ducks, chickens and geese, a couple of
horses and some pigs. The mama cat and her kittens were made welcome, however the farm
was very close to a busy side road and the surrounding fields had predators coming closer to
the property. The kittens would be better adopted into family homes, safe and loved as they
were getting older they were starting to wander further from the barn. A call was made to a
local cat rescue lady and plans were made to bring the kittens into Pet Patrol care Momma
will stay as rodent control and has been spayed
Personality:
Kippy and his brothers are very handsome kittens. They are very inquisitive and are learning
to play with toys. Toys were unknown before but they love the crinkle balls and the strings on a
stick to chase around. They love it when you come into the room and sit with them, and they
like being the centre of attention. A tall scratch post is just the thing to climb to look out the
window. They nonstop purr when a person is near and they entwine around your legs looking
for attention. Kippy is ready for his forever home with a sibling or playmate. One where
they will be part of the family and kept safely indoors.
