Tilly

Rescue:

Tilly’s kittens were found by a four year old boy in a residential home’s backyard in a small
village. He had been playing outside as it was a nice spring day when he called for his
mother to come closer while saying “cute cute”. As she approached to see what he was
looking at she heard tiny innocent mews and then saw that there were two new born kittens.
They were amongst dry leaves which were piled onto damp dirt and surrounded by a hedge
and their eyes were not opened yet. Excited to see them, but concerned for their well being
they started looking for the mother cat. It is hard being a homeless cat living on the street and
trying to keep your kittens safe. Every time she left the nest to hunt for food or to move the
kittens, they were immediately prey for other critters outside. The people who found this little
feline family contacted Pet Patrol for help in rescuing them and soon a humane trap was
dropped off at their home. It only took a few hours to rescue Tilly. Then they gathered up the
babies and took them all inside the warm home.

Personality:

Tilly is a gentle girl who loves to be petted now. She was not so fond of humans for quite a while,
but once her kittens were adopted, she totally changed. She loves the attention. She is still
learning the whole toy thing and can be found once in a while batting a ball around the room. Tilly
is often found sitting looking out the windows and likes to be high up in a kitty bed, snoozing
away. She gets along well with the other cats at the sanctuary and would do well with another
friendly cat. Tilly is a beautiful soft, long haired girl that has become quite the lovable lady and is
looking for her own family to love. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely
indoors.
