Rescue:
Pet Patrol received a phone call from an employee at one of the pet food stores that we frequent, where our cats audition for adoption so that the public can see them in person. She
was in touch with her friend who lives south of the city and through social media discovered
that their barn cat had had a litter of kittens. Unfortunately, they were giving them away for free
and at that time there were only two kittens left. There’s no such thing as a free cat, because
they still need their medical care from the vet, vaccinations, deworming, and to be spayed or
neutered. She was very happy to get these two and after two hours of driving they came into
Pet Patrol care.
Personality:
Olson and his sister Opal are very loving and affectionate towards each other. They both like
leaping and chasing the fake feather at the end of a cat wand toy. They are definitely part of
the WWF (World Wrestling Felines) and regularly run relays through the house. Olson likes to
be held. When he’s cradled on his back like a baby and has his tummy tickled, he really starts
to purr quickly. Little Opal follows in her brother’s paw prints when it comes to being active, but
is also quite the explorer in her own right: not much goes without her noticing. These sweet
kitties are ready to be adopted into their forever home. One that will welcome them into the
family and keep them safely indoors.
