Rescue:
Matrix and his sibling Mulani were from a remote and functioning farm. In this very secluded
area, veterinarian care is far away, spay/neuter clinics are nonexistent and the cost to have
cats spayed or neutered at the vet is very high. It’s not feasible for a farming community to pay
$300 or so to have a barn cat fixed. So, these kittens were born, along with nine others and
rescue organizations in the area were called to help. When they first came into Pet Patrol
care, the kittens were quite unsure about their environment and what to expect. It didn’t take
them long to settle in and start playing with toys. They all are able to be picked up and cuddled, which shows that the people on the farm did a good job socializing them. These cats are
ready to be adopted and meet their forever families. Matrix has really shown us that he is a
wonderful kitten and ready for his next adventures in a good life.
Personality:
Mulani and Matrix are purring machines. They love their chin and back scratches and will
come up to you whenever they are in need of attention. You will usually find them cuddling
together anywhere that is comfy, especially if it is near a window so they can see what is going
on outside. They are very friendly, affectionate and playful. Mulani likes to be held like a baby
and she will fall asleep in your arms. She is a big fan of a wand toy with feathers. She likes to
follow her brother, Matrix, around and see what he is up to. They like to play chase and hide
and seek which then turns into a wrestling match. Matrix likes to cuddle but he is more interested in playing with his toys. He is a big fan of chasing anything with a bell. He is very adventurous and will walk around all day looking for something to do. When he gets tired from playing, he will come and cuddle with you. These two kittens are ready to be adopted into their
forever home. One that will welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors.
