Rescue:

Pet Patrol seems to get an equal number of cats coming from city areas as country. One
couple contacted us who live on a very secluded country property and noticed a mother cat
with her seven kittens trailing behind her. The couple automatically wondered about her wellbeing and who might’ve dropped her off. It is a misconceived notion that cats will have a wonderful life if you leave them in the country. More often than not they are left for starvation or
becoming prey to coyote fox and hawks. Because the mother cat was skittish the couple set
up a humane trap, but she avoided it. They continued to put food out in hopes that she would
take up residence and that they would be able tor rescued them all but by the third day she
had disappeared with four of the kittens. The three remaining babies, Dove, Dunkin and little
Dream were brought into the house and onto Pet Patrol

Personality:

These two are quite special in their colouring; Dutch is fully a brown colour called chocolate,
and his sister is white with patches of chocolate, making them quite possibly the cutest kittens
you will ever meet! Dutch is outgoing, adventurous and curious. He loves to be pet and will
hop onto your lap for cuddle where he’ll stay for a while, soaking up all the attention, but once
a toy is thrown or his sister’s tail twitches a little too much, he’s off immediately to pounce on it!
Dove is a bit shyer than her brother, but she loves to play just as much – especially with soft,
crinkly balls! She’ll wrestle with her brother, and often begins their matches by grooming him a
little more exuberantly then he’d like. You’ll hear her purr if you settle her in for a quiet cuddle
with her front paws and chin resting on your shoulder. They are ready to be adopted into an
exceptional forever home that will appreciate them for their personalities and uniqueness. One
that will welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors.
