Rescue:
A young woman was walking home from her part-time job, past the park, and was quite taken
aback when she heard the tiny mews of a little cat. She looked around and there was little
Destiny. This pretty brown tabby came running up to her right away, accepted pets and followed her home. She and her family who could not turn their back on a kitten and she was
brought into the house, checked over and immediately fed. Destiny was very hungry and so
very glad to be indoors, she was clean and of good weight. The family went onto social media
to see if anyone was missing Destiny in their community, and posted her as ‘Found”. After a
week it was obvious that no one was looking for her and the woman mentioned that “the odd
thing is that at the same time last year, a kitten of the same age was found in the same area,
and the year before that the same thing. Somebody is dumping cats.” The family reached out
to cat recue organizations to see if they would take Destiny in and eventually found Pet Patrol.
Personality:
Destiny is such a sweetheart. She is easy to pick up, cuddle, cradle in your arms on her back,
snuggle with and play with. She is all round a great little kitten. She is not shy at all and was
very happy to come to the sanctuary and see the other cats and play with them. She
made herself right at home with her foster family and another little cat. Destiny will certainly
charm you with her loving personality and her boundless energy for play. She likes all toys and
tests them all out. The cat tree and tunnel, and chasing after the wand toy are such great fun.
She watches out the window at the neighbourhood activities and greets you at the door. Destiny is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family
and keep her safely indoors.
