Rescue:
Pet Patrol received a message from a young man who was quite upset about having to give
up his beloved cat. She is a pretty calico and her name is Kyrie. He had moved in with family
and it seemed that, no fault of her own, she was not welcomed there. The family member
complained about the food dishes, the litter box and the cat hair. Eventually, trying to be as
accommodating as he could, the young man moved all of his cat’s belongings into his bedroom. But it was not enough. Things were escalating. He had only had Kyrie for a little while,
taking her in from a friend who could no longer care for her, but he was very attached to her.
Soon she was in Pet Patrol care, alert and interested in her surroundings. She adjusted immediately and shown us that she is very social and friendly.
Personality:
Kyrie is a really nice cat who has not had to fend for herself outside, struggling to find shelter or
food. She has not felt hunger or been in fear of becoming prey. She is very even tempered
and rolls with the changes that have happen in her life. She is a dear cat who is good company
for her person and is cuddly and a nice bedtime buddy. She likes her toys, especially those
than dangle from a wand or the laser pen light, she naps in cardboard boxes and likes shoelaces too. Kyrie enjoys the views from the wide window sills watching the neighbourhood
activities, birds and squirrels. This lovely girl is ready to be adopted into her forever home.
One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
