Rescue:
One of Pet Patrol‘s long time volunteers, who lives in a small village off the main highway, had
noticed a number of black and white cats appearing on her property on an irregular basis.
One here, one there and she figured it was from a local farm that had just been sold. The barn
was emptied out and was now boarded up and the cats were not allowed entry, leaving them
homeless. A number of felines with their kittens in tow had migrated into the village and were
now at her dependable feeding station. Petite little tuxedo kitty Becca had three kittens with
her, all needing good nutrition and care. Like some of the other stray cats before her. she was
so frightened but so grateful for the daily food and fresh water. Eventually her kittens were big
enough to come to the food bowl and soon afterwards they were rescued. This would be
Myles and Midgi, and their brother Moco and they have thrived int heir foster hom. Becca has
made herself comfortable at the sanctuary and we continue to work with her.
Personality:
Myles and Midgi are two peas in a pod, and quite bonded with each other. Midgi loves her
big brother and is quite fond of her little brother Moco as well. The trio all get along very well.
Both Myles and Midgi are very affectionate and playful but Midgi likes to be held and cuddled
more than Myles(typical male). They enjoy hanging out in the cat tree and looking out the big
front window at the birds, squirrels and chipmunks. They like to chase each other and play
with all the toys, they don’t have any favorites they like them all. They get along well with the
resident cats but, Midgi likes to think she’s the boss and lets the rest of them all know.
Myles, Midgi and Moco are all quite the trio of cuddles and love.
