ADOPTION PROFILE

Heidi

Heidi

Heidi

Rescue:

A long time supporter of Pet Patrol spends her summer months in her trailer home, in a well
kept park out in the country. This site is surrounded completely by fields and forest. A winding
single lane gravel road, with bridges and streams along the way leads in from the main road.
It is quite secluded. Sometimes a barn cat will wander over to the camp ground, but rarely, so
it was quite a surprise when little Heidi came up to someone out of the woods to be pet. She
was extremely friendly right off the bat and it was initially assumed that she may have been a
resident’s cat that got out of the trailer. But that search came up empty and they approached
our volunteer to see if she could help. Heidi was thought to be a boy at first, neutered, and
may have a microchip. But Heidi is all girl and no identifying microchip, and no posting of her
on the Lost Pet sites. Oh Heidi, how did you find yourself in the middle of nowhere? She is a
very nice sweet cat who also became a surrogate momma for a wee kitten that needed surgery. Heidi is wonderful.

Personality:

Heidi is fun loving and a happy go lucky cat. She was more interested in being a caregiver for
the kitten than playing, but always reached to to her people for love and attention. She is very
affectionate and known to follow her people around for attention. She is agile and will scale
the cat climber without incident and jump up on the bed or couch to cuddle with her people.
She seems to be all round a great cat and will make a nice addition to a cat oriented family.
Heidi integrated into the sanctuary with the other cats ok, but a home with just one other cat
would suite her just fine. She is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will
welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
